Exhale a sigh of relief because we do not have to love every part of ourselves in order to have self-value! I started this brand because of my self-healing journey. For a long time, I did not have any idea of how to cultivate the self-esteem I wanted SO badly. I felt lost as I found myself scrolling through social media self-love and body positivity posts. Why wasn’t it working for me? Why couldn’t I just love myself?!
I grew to realize what I needed was not this achievement of self-love, what I needed was acceptance. I needed to accept myself where I was, even if that version of me hated the way her body looked, hated how she would get irritated at the smallest of things, hated that she couldn’t follow through. Through acceptance, I found that the tension wasn’t coming from my body or my personality. The tension was coming from all the things I thought I was supposed to be. I was fueling my self-hatred by giving myself unmeasurable and unachievable standards to live up to. If you spend your life paying attention to what you’re not, you will end up having no idea who you are, and that is exactly where I was.
As a frugal DIYer at heart, I set out to figure out how to heal myself in my way. This took me over five years, TONS of trial and error, and lots of ups and downs. I now use what I learned to help others have a ~bit~ more seamless journey of self-acceptance.



I am a Certified Psychosynthesis Life Coach. I focus on positive psychology, self-compassion, mindfulness, and the science of psychosynthesis in my coaching. Together we build an understanding of where you are versus where you want to be. We also focus our attention on overcoming the obstacles that are preventing you from getting you to where you want to be. My powerful method leads you through three simple, but not-so-easy steps:

First, we collaborate to establish self-awareness so we have a grounded place to begin working from. It is so easy to live life on autopilot. I support you through the process of facing some difficult truths that you may be avoiding. We then move to acceptance to understand that you cannot change the past or the current circumstances but, we can find ways to apply valuable lessons you have collected toward achieving your goals. Then, we finish with grace. There is no reason to be a monster to yourself even when you’ve made a lot of mistakes. Being mean to yourself does not help you to grow or do better next time. Self-compassion can save you from a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. You will learn how to motivate yourself from a space of love and compassion rather than perfectionism and fear of not being enough.
Just because self-criticism has always been present when motivating yourself to do things doesn’t mean it’s the reason you were able to do those things. Self-criticism is only one tool to motivate yourself. When working with the Self Like Method we uncover a number of other tools to help with motivation and goal achievement.
For me as your coach, it’s not about the goals you hit or the things you produce (though they will come more easily). It is about helping you develop more peace and compassion for yourself along the way. Befriending and getting to know yourself allows you to finally stop waiting for something external to save you from the discomforts of life. The perfect relationship, home, income, or job is not going to bring you the peace and satisfaction you long for…you are the magic and you always have been. Now let’s go home.
